·         Designs should measure 12” x 12”

·         Entries should be submitted on white unlined paper.

·         Designs must be completed in one of the following media: color markers, paint, colored pencils, inks, chalks or crayons.

·         Design entry must include your name, age, address and telephone number on a 4”x 6” postcard. Do not write on the back of artwork. Do not staple anything to the design.

·         Designs should include the date, time and title of our race: “19th Annual Joe Cain Classic Run” It should be located at the top of the design. The words should be between 1” and 2” in height.

·         Color copies of original designs will be accepted.

·         Designs may be hand drawn or designed on a computer, but NO CLIP ART!

·         Limit to three entries per envelope from same artist.

·         Contest open to people ages 13 and older except members of the Bay Area Runners, Sponsors of the race and their immediate families (The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren).  

·         Representatives of the Bay Area Runners will judge designs. Judges’ decision is final.

·         All entries will be displayed at the race.

·         The Bay Area Runners are not responsible for lost entries.

·         Designs will not be returned.
